Children’s Garden of Play

• Created custom sculptures to fit their garden theme

The Challenge

We were contacted by Powell Gardens. They were looking for items that would fit into their new ‘Play in the Garden’ children’s area. They had specific requirements in regards to features, colors and safety requirements for each piece. Their play space needed to be filled with interactive and age appropriate pieces for younger children.

Solution

We needed to go above and beyond to fill this special request. Botanical gardens are filled with many flower species, insects and critters, so we were asked to recreate some of nature’s creatures and features.

Result

In the play garden you will find a custom Honeycomb Climber complete with honeybees for children to climb and crawl through. There is a giant Log Climber and Slide with a playful fox and timid rabbit. Along with these fun features, you will also find Milkweed Climbers adorned with beautiful Monarch Butterflies. Children can climb from post to post with butterflies “flying” overhead.
